For the past month I’ve had trouble coming up with something to write about. There’s been an abundance of topics, and of course there’s always the holidays; but nothing seemed to stick.

I’ve even started blogs and then erased them because it just wasn’t right.

I’ve always stayed up to date with American politics. You could almost call it a hobby of mine. But it amazes me that many others have no interest in keeping up with the force field that shapes their world.

Your everyday rules, job, shopping and entertainment is molded to fit the political world. Yet, there are those out there that could care less about what is going on in D.C.

Regardless of your political beliefs or feelings on politicians, it is to your benefit to at least pay attention. I realize that voting seems to be an old world task, but whether it’s by voting or relaying knowledge of the political process, party decisions, or simply playing lobbyist for your concerns; your role is vital to citizens.

If your forte isn’t on the national level, find an interest on the local, state or international level. The point is get involved. If all of us pitched in we could change the world.
